The agreement between you and Ardya Veda when you use the app or the website.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ardya Veda mobile application and the website at ardyaveda.com (together, the “Service”), operated by Akagai Ventures, operating as Ardya Veda (“Ardya Veda”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Not medical advice. Ardya Veda provides Ayurvedic lifestyle and wellness information and connects you with Ayurvedic practitioners. Nothing in the Service is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not replace consultation with a qualified physician. Do not disregard or delay professional medical advice because of anything you read or receive through the Service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly at ardyaveda@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use. You may close your account at any time — see the Account & Data Deletion page.

3. The Service

Ardya Veda may include, among other things:

Prakriti (constitution) assessments and personalized insights;
AI-assisted meal plans and seasonal Ritucharya routines;
Sleep, movement, and daily check-in tools;
Consultations with verified Vaidyas by chat, audio, or video;
The Patrika journal, community (Sangha), and the shop.

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set, change, or remove limits on free and paid usage.

4. Consultations and the role of Vaidyas

Vaidyas offering consultations are independent practitioners. They are responsible for the advice they give. Ardya Veda provides the platform that connects you and facilitates payment; we do not practise medicine and are not responsible for the clinical judgement of any practitioner. Any guidance you receive is Ayurvedic wellness advice, subject to the “Not medical advice” notice above.

5. Payments, plans, and wallet

Prices are shown in the Service and, unless stated otherwise, are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway, Razorpay. By paying, you also agree to the gateway’s terms.
Some features are offered on a freemium basis — a limited free allowance, after which a charge applies. The applicable terms are shown before you pay.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or qualifications;
upload content that is illegal, abusive, infringing, or misleading, or that gives dangerous health guidance;
attempt to access, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service or other users’ data;
scrape, copy, or resell the Service or its content without permission.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant Ardya Veda a limited licence to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for what you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its text, design, graphics, and software, is owned by Ardya Veda or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for the rights we expressly grant you to use the Service, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example Razorpay, Google, and Supabase) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, which are governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any wellness outcome will be achieved.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ardya Veda will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the three months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Ardya Veda harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
