Hundred Steps

A hundred slow steps after eating. The oldest digestion advice there is.

How to do it

Walk roughly a hundred slow steps within about ten minutes of finishing your meal. Keep it gentle and flat — no pace, no stairs, no hills. What this replaces is sitting straight back down after eating.

What it does

A hundred steps after eating — the oldest digestion advice in the system.

When you'll be given it

Added automatically whenever the check-in reports Agni is low.

Where it comes from

Traditional dinacharya: a hundred paces after the meal.

Take care

Gentle only. Vigorous movement straight after eating works against digestion rather than helping it.
